Mallincam Video Assisted Observing
All of the images on this website are unprocessed captured video images, not CCD astrophotographs. What you see here is what I saw on my 9-inch monitor at the time the images were captured. They were captured with a Mallincam Color Hyper Plus on either my 10-inch Meade LX200GPS f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain or my Orion ST120mm Refractor telescopes using a combination of focal reducers resulting in an effective f/ratio of 3.75. I captured the images through a USB capture device connected to the Mallincam and laptop computer through an S-video cable. Image resolution on the screen was 640×480 NTSC.
